Reclaim your garage in hours
We sort, haul and donate what we can — you get your space back, no heavy lifting required.
OVERVIEW
The American garage starts as a place for cars and ends as a museum of regret. PrimeX Garage Cleanout takes most Bend and Redmond garages from “can’t-park-here” back to “car-fits-again” in a single afternoon — sorted, hauled, swept, and with up to 70% of the contents donated or recycled instead of landfilled.
A garage isn’t just a room. It’s a slow-motion archaeological dig. There are layers — last summer’s stuff on top, decade-old stuff at the bottom, and somewhere in the middle, a box you’ve moved through three houses without ever opening. Tackling it solo is the kind of task that gets started at 9am Saturday and abandoned by 11.
PrimeX makes it a non-event. Two crew members, one truck, two to four hours, and your garage transforms. We sort as we go: keep, donate, recycle, haul. You stay involved for the keep/donate decisions and we handle the rest.
Most two-car garages in Bend or Redmond end up being a “1/2 truck” haul. Some are “full truck” — especially if there’s been a deferred-maintenance situation for several years. Detached garages and shops often run larger.
We start with a walkthrough so we understand the scope, talk through the keep pile, and identify any specific instructions (“that’s my dad’s old toolbox, that stays”). Then we work in zones — usually starting with the area furthest from the door so the stuff you’re keeping stays accessible. By the time we’re done, you’ve got a swept floor and a mental clear-out to go with the physical one.
Garages are full of stuff that’s not actually trash — it’s just stuff you don’t need. Working bikes go to Bend Bikes Recycle. Camping gear in good shape goes to NeighborImpact. Tools go to Habitat ReStore. Sports equipment goes to local thrift partners. Working appliances find new homes.
We do the sort. You get the credit. The garage gets cleared.
Most garages have a few things we can’t take in a normal haul: old paint cans (especially oil-based), pesticides, motor oil, propane tanks, car batteries. We’ll pull these aside and point you to Deschutes County’s hazardous waste drop-off events at Knott Landfill, which run periodically through the year.
